When the cat is done, i toss them into the dishwasher and they come sparkly clean. The stainless is a breeze to clean. It helps keep my brats from flipping them over well.

The only downside is that they have no rubber on the bottom to prevent skidding.
It also decreases the incidence of whisker bump. The stainless steel has a solid feel and doesn't slide away as my cat eats.

Then i put food in the bowls that my cats and dogs are used to eating out of which are smooth and rounded from the rim through the bottom so the food drops down into the middle of the bowl as they eat

A different day i used their other bowls that are more like traditional cat bowls rounded around the edges shallow and flatter in the middle

To me that shows they not only enjoy the shallow depth of these but they also like the 34cornered34 bottom edge at the sides rather than the fully rounded bottoms

Because the bowls are low and wide they are virtually impossible to tip over unless they are in the middle of a bout of vigorous cat wrestling

The silicone bottom prevents them from skidding and being pushed all over the floor by a greedy kitty

The only problem is she ends up pushing half the food off the plate

Theyre very shallow and pretty close to being a plate honestly but she cant push the food out
