This is as far as i can tell a problem with the card itself since both my ssd and cpu were under 100 usage
I use this product on a weekly basis for a livestream
Picture quality is fine a bit grainy but nothing crazy
However these are all essentially the same card with the same circuit and chips 3

The whole reason for buying this was to increase the native resolution on my laptop 1366x768 when projecting to an external monitor 1920x1080

Ill start confessing that ive never had any other capture card in my life and that i didnt buy this from amazon but got it from local facebook marketplace

All in all if you have a more than decent pc or laptop you should be fine with this capture card and i would actually recomend it

I use it to stream on twitch for my switch there is a bit of lag i would recommend for the switch only or nonintense games where timing is key or precision like call of duty

Note sound needs to be edited on obs took me a bit to figure out on my pc on mac i am still figuring it out
