Pros

The camera's light meter is spot on. V battery and adjust for the incorrect metering.

Cons

Quality is shoddy at best. Bought 2, after 4 hours both still only showing 1. Will never purchase again. Even waited 30 min to 1 hour as recommended.

Chances are that it needs recalibration anyway since it's 25 years old. The fit is not good in the light meter which likely caused a short.

With a razor blade or box knife, slice off a ring ~1/8 high. The negative side, has a strange bump which is welded on top. One of the first two batteries was corroded in the package.

The build quality of the battery feels a bit cheaper than the original but it works and makes the built in light meter in the camera move

The first battery i used i was not impressed with the usage before replacing

Shipping

The price was still pretty steep for 1 battery and the shipping was slow but it worked and there aren’t tons of alternatives

Competitiveness

35 volt battery in my canonet ql17 gen iii which matches the original batterys voltage without having to use toxic mercury
