It’s not a queen size in the traditional sense

It just basically lays on top of a queen bed doesn’t wrap down the sides

If two are going to share the queen blanket in a queen bed it should be a little larger covers the top of the mattress not the sides

It has the ties around the edges to tie it to the duvet cover which is sold separately and keeps it in place
