It assumes you are an idiot and need to know when to flip meat. Not that it would actually remind you with a notification. No options for things like ribs or pork *.
Nothing can be downloaded from weber's site. This * me off. App constantly freezes rendering the preset cooks inaccessible. Net-net, it's a start, but needs to be tightened up.
It is *very* finicky to pair via bluetooth, and it refuses to connect to my wifi even while plugged in to ac power. There are other devices out that that are 4 channel, wifi and bluetooth. It hangs and doe not works properly, even on the latest firmwa... Read More
Disposal tool that's only good for a year. No power button to insure the unit is off. Sort of defeats the purpose of having a rechargeable battery.
The ambient temperature thermometer just dashes. Ended up just having to set a temp. Ambient temperature reads 680 regardless of dome temperature being several hundred degrees lower.

Several hours to do initial charge the half an hour to update firmware then another software update

Yeah i had to update the firmware yeah i had some issues connecting it to wifi yeah the instructions could be more comprehensive and finally the app was challenging to figure out

I have the igrill 2 which is built into my weber grill and it’s bluetooth only so it loses connection constantly if i’m not nearby
