My only negative which is very small is that i usually have to drill some additional holes in the leather piece to make the fit just right as the predrilled holes leave it too long at their shortest setting

This halter has a substantial crown piece which i feel will break if the horse gets hung up and struggles but will not break in response to something like a restless horse jerking back against the rope
