The waistband stretches to fit but stays snug on your waist. Fits exactly as the other reviewers stated.

I highly recommend this skirt, and would buy again if another need arose. This skirt is the best! Totally worth the price. No complaints here.

The burgundy is too red. The skirt is entirely too poofy. It is not as poufy as advertised or expected. It looks like a trash bag on me haha.

The description says an elastic waist and 5 layers + a satin layer. The elastic band was very tight around my waist. I have other skirts this style and love the snug waist and puffy skirt but this was just odd.

I would take it out the packaging hang it upside down to get maximum poof
