It reported a foreign array and asked if i wanted to accept it and the four drive status lights then went blue from red

After making sure i had up to date backups of all the data i have it a factory restore and reformatted the array

Western digital pr4100 is my back up to my ex4100 can recommend this piece of kiteasy to set upi bought the diskless unit and populated it with 4x4tb western digital nas drivesruns coolplenty of apps with iteasy ui i have both set up as raid spanning

I have found the read and write speeds to be very fast and its good to be able to access all of your data whilst out and about i have now cancelled my dropbox 1tb subscription that costs £79 per year and my wife also has access to store all of her data too

That said the 4tb is 2x2tb ehich wasnt clear to me and i found very snnoying as i wanted a 4tb disk and a spare slot for later expansion
