    Run a surface scan when you first get the drive, this seems to be par for the course with 6tb drives, i had the same issue with a 6tb seagate.

    This 6t did the trick nicely, and fyi, i found the easiest way to copy the data from my old drive to the new one was a simple msdos command xcopy (for you pc people of course), just google that and you don't need to download some 3rd party copy program.
