Why they chose to mention it on the box at all is beyond me and if they have stopped including it as a matter of course hen i think its a pretty poor show that they havent amended the packaging to suit

Anyone who does know what theyre doing however might just as well save a few bob by buying the plain my passport or similar and formatting it themselves or if the drive is too big partition the excess 1tb would have been ample for me as i have lt300gb of data but wasnt available at the time so i had to pay extra for the 2tb one

A spinning drive might be slower but in the event of a catastrophic failure theres a good chance of being able to rescue some if not all of your data

Being a maccie i found wds my passport for mac drives the most reliable

I accidentally bought the wrong one this one as i have a pc but actually you just need to download the right driver from their website and reformat the drive and it works fine
