Pros

Wayne pump is louder and more powerful than basement watchdog. The upgraded 12v pump is very quiet and larger (see picture). The backup still runs 20+ seconds so float placement is very important to keep pump from running dry.

My brother and neighbor are electrical engineers and they stated that level of charging could shorten battery life. Comes with a 1. M8 accessory stud on marine batteries. Was fully charged.

The wayne sump pump system fit the basin fine. The check valve included appears to be slightly heftier/more durable.

Cons

Wayne needs to address the serious design flaw of the charger.

Packaging/appearance

First things first packaging looked really good and things were held well and no parts were damaged

Competitiveness

Very easy to install only took about 35 mins for a diyer like me to do

My advice is to buy a basin like the jackel with predrilled holes itll save time

This system shouldnt go through enough cycles to make it worthwhile anyway

Was a littlebit of a tight fit with both pumps in my pit but they fit together facing opposite directions
