Ball valves are for all intents and purposes binary either on or off theres really no such thing a slow open so you are forced to go though about a dozen resets to get water to come out

I also had to reset it again a couple hrs later and then one more time 3 days later but after that things were fine i chalked it up to the air not being completely bleeded

Floodsafe does not work very well for washing machines and dishwashers but it does for other applications like ice makers

If the floodsafe hose bursts then the water may come out full speed and thats what triggers the safety feature

Bottom line is water comes out of this product slower than a regular hose

Washing machines and dishwashers may require a full speed hose for normal operation and even if not it can cause your washing cycle to take longer filling up
