I put things i had to keep dry inside of garbage bags just to be sure but it turned out that wasnt necessary at all

I will say that the ends on some of my straps did fray but after flapping in the wind at 80 mph im not surprised

Our vehicle doesn’t have a roof rack so we had to use it with the straps inside per the directions

Seems like it could be sturdy and what we needed but it requires you the go under the weather striping of the door and out striping will not peel back it is glued and strongly attached to the body
