Here a few pros and cons focused on the specifics of wearing this while swimming and the audioflood headphones (since audioflood can't be held responsible for irritating ipod shuffle features):pros:- helps tremendously with focus/anxiety during long swims- sound is excellent- entirely unnoticeable when wearing- great for other kinds of exercise (and for those of us who sweat a lot)- once the headphones are inserted correctly and firmly (see my cons below) the fit provides a watertight seal and removes the need for earplugscons:- the headphones are nearly impossible to insert firmly and correctly into small ear canals without a lot of finagling.
