The pack folds up when empty into the little front pocket, making it easy to throw in a suitcase. It packs into a very compact package, but will hold a lot when in use. Love that it can be folded up and packed away in stall spaces.
Bought this to use on my trip to maine to hike in acadia national park. Took this on a tour of iceland. My only gripe is the straps are not very comfortable.
Cons
Review reflects having no options. No company contact info except a ridiculous address in china. Also, the zippers end up getting stuck and the hanging loop on top will rip off easily.

Perfect size and packed into its own pouch
Comfortable but not so padded as to take up too much room for packing

It seems well made better made than the half price eddie bauer 20l pack i was considering until i checked it out in the eddie bauer store
