Iccp approach to preventing corrosion is commonly used in the industry, like boilers. Seller is very proactive in fixing problems with the powersupplies. Decided to go with electronic anode rather than magnesium because hot water is softened.

This relives the system pressure and ensures water won't flow out of the top of the water when you remove the old anode. The same 1 1/16th socket is used to remove the existing aluminum anode rod. Contact tank manufacture for torque specs.
