It takes a second or 2 more to devour a drain full of crud. This disposal is very quiet, very much worth the money. It's easy to dispose of.

It is really not difficult to line up the baffle to get it to turn on. The stopper/control for this unit is very sturdy also. To operate the disposal, you rotate the plastic stopper so that it activates a switch.

This is the one you want. Zero regrets and will definitely buy again for other kitchens. Nt go less.

Cons

Worst part is the cover. Takes forever to grind the waste. Product noise level is very loud, even louder than a much cheaper disposal that i was replacing.

Disposal is way quieter than the much more expensive insinkerator and i am happy with performance

I bought this for my daughter and i like it better than my more expensive insinkerator

Would have given it five stars but it is not as powerful as the 1 hp which is a 5star product in my view

We had a crappy 13 hp insinkerator badger under our sink that pretty much died on a piece of lettuce
