It is a heavy beast, luckily my husband is a strong beast. It operates flawlessly. For the low price and the great job it does i am quite satisfied!

Its 1/2 hp motor is impressively powerful, easily grinding up even tough scraps. The noise level is impressfully low, a welcome change from my previous, much louder unit. Even seems quieter than big name brands also.

Expected better durability and longer life. With a single bucket kitchen sink this horsepower was too much. Hardly my first attempt at installing a disposal.

It was a simple process that i could handle myself saving the cost and hassle of professional installation

Bought a new top flange for 15 to suit a new sink to look new the unit itself still going strong

It’s just as good just as quiet and a quarter of the price

Packaging/appearance

Came with everything i need to install it super easy

The box was fine but the bottom had broken pcs

Competitiveness

Much better than predesesor wont quite

Replaced a competitor insinkerator that stopped working gradually until it fully died blocking all drainage from that sink

Therefore i dont know his this compares to other 1 hp garbage disposals in the appropriate price range so keep that in mind
