The wasabis i bought when the camera was new keep plugging along and havent swollen while the oems of the same vintage are pooping out one by one and having to get tossed

They have more ah than the oem batteries which should explain the better performance

The saddles as i said can be removed and installed on either base

Initially one of the batteries indicated it was charged when put on the charger but was in fact completely discharged

All it has is a light indicator that shows that the charger is connected whether the battery is charging or not it stays on all the time with or without battery

I get about 3 hours of use with each one on the 720p gps settings i use

The contour battery doesnt really hold a charge so i cant compare the life but i got a bit over an hour and a half at 720p with gps on
