You apply the film to the desired location using doubleside tape which is included and then you tighten the film into an airtight barrier with the hair dryer

In fact some cottages have all these extra doors that you find you dont use and over time with earthquakes and ground settling due to recent construction draining the water table lower you wind up with doors and windows that are all out or alignment so you have to plane them down or plane the frames

This is fine in the summer when you get breezes through those giant drafty spaces but terrible in spring and winter when bugs come in and cold night air comes blowing in like a ghost
