Well built and durable. They are reusable.
The paddle holds the cardboard shields from home depot very well. Perfect for deflecting paint as with a sprayer. Attaches to a broom or painter's extension.

Cardboard worked okay but i eventually found some thin metal soffit pieces taped to cover the holes worked best for staying rigid and tucking in close to the corners

Get a box of cardboard shields which are thinner than box cardboard and cut to the right size

But you can see where the handle has a bit to much material to clear the base of the plastic paddle

The slot does not need to be made wider just chamferred as you would for a butt weld
