Pros & Cons
Pros
The spool lock is pretty good too, we have a pullzall that has a power out, and it takes a long time to spool the line out. The winch is powered by attaching a hand-powered drill. It's better than just cutting the limb and letting it fall where it may... Read More
Very nice design, and well made. Worth every penny. A real back-saver. Worked like a charm.
The winch is slow, but saves your body and frustration in setting the other methods up. It is a bargain compared to the body shop. If they ever come out with a faster line speed version that’ll be tempting for me.
Highlights
Quality
Built tough lightweight easy to use this thing is awesome
Works great able to pull car on trailer with it with no problems
The gearing is low and the drill did not struggle even with a pretty large load on it
It’s towed and lifted lumber and drug machines onto trailers
Price
I did price shop and found it on amazon the cheapest
It paid for itself several times over first day
A little pricey but the portability is very convenient
Shipping
Shipping was quick and box was not damaged
Competitiveness
There are many other less expensive options but this does seem to be a very high quality winch
Used a dewalt 20v drill was twice as fast as my 18v raobi
It works beyond expectations but then with a brand like warn it should probably be no surprise
While the winch is slow compared to the vroom method that was often repeated it is a bargain compared to the body shop
