The bulbs could have been exactly the upgrade i was looking for from the five 40w g9 halogen bulbs that came with the new kitchen light i installed but the product received did not match the description

The description in multiple places and in the question section plainly stated the bulbs were 7w or an equivalent of 60w incandescent

However the bulbs received state 57w on the package and are clearly no brighter than the 40w halogen bulbs they replaced

In the past i unwittingly used g9 bulbs with the more wire loop couplings and when they burned out they were also stuck in my fixture

I cant detect any flicker at all and i consider myself to be the type of person that normally notices it in leds

One thing to remember because i have switches with led indicators on the switch there is sufficient energy to dimly light the bulbs like a night light when the lights are off
