Would be great gift for grade school children. Many youtube instructional videos out there. Bought it for my nephew.

It's totally playable and even sounds similar to a few other whistles i have. It seems nicely made and heavier than tin. It's very sturdy.

The book is fantastic and even includes the whistle-tabs for those that don't have experience reading music. The music is very easy to read for all ages. How they formatted the music makes it easy to pick up and learn.

There was also a lot of * looking scratches inside from machining. Book is helpful when learning the staff for it, but it's real hard to play dented. This item is somewhat pointless.

The sound is really sheill, and you will likely get in trouble playing it. What i have learned from this is buy better quality when it comes to musical instruments you wont regret it later. Is not of good quality, out of tune.
