Had it had some metal reinforcement like the original old version amazon case there would be no durability worries but it also would have lost some aesthetics

I tried one of the more expensive cases from another company and it was garbage and didnt protect my kindle or even cover it full

Over all it is a beautiful case with a soft inside that wont damage the screen

For length of durability it seems like it will hold up well but even if not its inexpensive enough to replace unless it only lasts a few months then id look around for something else
