Some of this is because instead of being full of traditional components it has only the small ringer bell and a small printed circuit board inside

Conversely this phone has no ringer volume control but it does have a small threeposition audio volume switch on the middle of the handset this appears to affect only the earpiece listening volume not the microphone volume
