The plugs are snug and the cords fit well and snug. Spacing between outlet plus is good as it’s enough to regular and some slim brick outlet plugs. The spacing on the bottom two sockets are great for those larger plugs.

If you have a screwdriver that's all you're going to need. The included long screw goes through the extender then screws in to the outlet plate. It also acts as a surge protector to insure that electrical spikes don't harm your electronic gear.
