Reason for the downgrade theres a metal static strip that makes it difficult getting the screws in to the drives

I cant quite figure out whether the smartarray controller or the trays are the culprit its rather inconsistent

Ill throw one warning out there that is unrelated to the product the b embedded smartarray controllers b120140i etc are absolute junk and an embarrassment to hpe in my opinion

Works as intended although nowhere near the build quality of original hp item but giving the price difference wouldnt be fair at all to complain

Once had come slightly disassembled but it was a 5 second fix and once you bolt in the drive there is no chance for it to come loose again
