Pros

The two step process seems well thought out. This prevents the cork from breaking. It is very solid, the foil cutter is easy to use. The built in cutter on the end is helpful.

Easy to use and very sturdiness. Times quicker than the electric openers. Beautiful and folds up to provide safe handling.

The opener is well made. It’s sturdy and met my needs. Good quality.

Cons

Don't buy. Get the oxo or anything else. Such a disappointment. Slowed me down immensely.

The serrated foil cutter is impossible to get a clean cut with. It is not safe to use with the foil cutter flopping out unpredictably.

The courts group portion itself is very loose and wobbles. Not waiter ready.

The part that connects to the lever (the same part that touches the bottle) is at least 50% larger than needed. This is so heavy and hard to use. Also doesn't have an easy-to-use 1st hinge.

This corkscrew has two different ways to lever a cork loose from the bottle

They maintain a tighter seal on the bottle

So you can get the cork moving on the first tier then change to the 2nd tier to get the cork the rest of the way out of the bottle

Competitiveness

Much better than the less expensive ones

It’s a little bulkierheavier than my normal pulltap but way better control imo
