Behr says you can thin a gallon with no more than a cup of water per gallon so thats what i did

If you are going to paint large areas then i would probably look for a sprayer with a wider spray pattern and a higher capacity paint container

I used both a shellac primer it didn’t no have to be thinned because is was very thin all ready and a sherwin williams emerald specialty paint which was very thick and the sw team said do not thin it and it was able to handle both paints just fine

These are 20 year old finished oak cabinets i painted white

There were a couple times the paint sort of gurgledbubbled up when i was unscrewing the container after i finished painting and that made clean up more annoying than usual but i think this was likely because of user error
