If you are heavier in the middle i’d size up as it’s not as loose as it appears on the model

It doesn’t fit quite as “off the shoulder” as it does in the retailer picture but it does have more of an off the shoulder look than a boat neck look

Also the cut of the neck is not shaped to actually fit off of one shoulder it’s more of a boat neck fit n you have to pull it off to one side
