I think the 6 x 8 model is a very good deal especially considering you receive photoshop elements 2 with it in the software package
Also if im not mistaken wacom offers a lifetime warranty on their products

A breif history about nine years ago i picked up a refurbished one of these from the wacom website

The pens plastic nib on the tablets plastic surface is a lot more slidey than traditional pen or pencil on paper

I eventually figured out that can be remedied by placing a sheet of paper over the drawing surface

The pen that it comes with will be a little fat for people with small hands

It has a two button rocker switch on the side and an 34eraser34 at the top

Should side rocker switches not be your cup of tea the switch can be easily be removed and the grip exchanged to the includedgrip with no holes that totally denies the existence of anything other than the writing and the erasing ends of the pen

Ive only changed the nib once in the nine years ive owned it and that was only because i felt bad for the other nibs just sitting there waiting to be used
