However the cord coming out the side sticks up by about another 14 so youll have to watch out for that if youre installing one of these under a ceiling joist

The actual light amount is pretty good but it is very centralized and by that i mean the majority is directed at one specific spot

Additionally if these were going in a living roomden setting where everyone will be to watch tv i would not want these directly over a couch seating area because if you were to lay down or look up you would be looking into a beam

Unlike florescent bulbs this will stay bright til it totally fails
