I ran the dishwasher with all the optional modes heater on and ½ way through the thermal switch tripped and the dishwasher shut off

I recalled a similar issue a few years back on this same appliance where the thermal fuse failed causing the samesimilar issue

When i first installed or kitchenaid dishwasher 89 years ago the fuse blew on the very first run fixed under warranty

So when it died on us a few weeks ago it looked pretty familiar

After some initial testing i opened up the front panel 6 screws tested the fuse clearly dead

I found just plugging the fuse into the original oem connectors would not solve the problem of the fuse terminating during the heat dry cycle
