Uses butane and is refillable. Easy to refill. Fills quickly and it's a good quality sturdy item.
Perfect for starting fires in a log burner. Works brilliantly with sparklers.
Solid build with good quality materials. Well crafted, reliable, beautifully presented. Nicely presented in its box. Went through washing maching and survived.
It's also ideal to throw into a equipment bag as you head off to a campsite because it is rugged. Brilliant for outdoors use, even in strong wind. Fantastic for camping and outdoor cooking in windy environments.
Cons
The litrally lit one then nothing. Now fails to light as the flint is no longer sparking. After 3 uses with a full tank of gas, and it sparks well but will not produce a constant flame.

Disposable lighters were getting on my nerves always faulty taking forever to light and then providing a miserable flame

But there is no safety also not an instant shut off for the gas on a high settings so the flame tapers off also this gos with out saying but the end can get rather hot after use and takes a bit to long to cool down its a material thing

When you unpack the lighter the first thing you will notice is the size it is a bit on the large side so not something to slip into a pocket

A small adjustment handle is available at the base and has a good range of control to offer just that too low and it extinguishes and too high is well
