The sound quality is every bit as good as higher priced tremolo pedals i’ve played before
This vsn comp pedal has its most usable range with the comp knob turned up 75100
The enclosure and knobs look and feel great and the sound quality is on par with much more expensive units
In terms of build quality you do get what you pay for and your expectations should be realistic but the pedal is definitely very usable

Both came in pretty nice packaging and felt pretty robust

Competitiveness
Only if you have a higher budget and want a higher quality small sized comp maybe look more at the mooer wampler or xotic
Overall its a cool little pedal for the price

If you place it before a thin sounding overdrive like a ts or klone it can be used to add the bass back into the signal and thicken up that tone

It seems a bit noisy when daisy chaining power off of a tuner but super quiet when using isolated power

It is low noise and has a good warm eq with just the right amount of brightness and bite to the eq which is important to me many mini pedals are too warm or too bright this was like goldilocks and the 3 bears

Unlike other tremolo pedals there is no volume drop when the pedal is engaged and your guitar’s tone isn’t colored in any noticeable way

These low cost pedals are made in china just like the expensive brand name pedals that are no longer made in the usa
