Pros
Long time fan of coil cords and the vox has a distinctive sound quality that i appreciate. Zero issues, zero complaints, hundreds of shows. It transmits the sounds from my guitar to my amp.
This one is much stiffer (stronger) and a quality feel to it. Solidly made beefy cable diameter.
Cons
The plug end of the cord is sealed up, so you can't check the soldered contacts. The connector is weak at the joint where it meets the jack. Back to cheaper cables with lifetime warrantee.

Sound quality is great and they also look great
Not sure if the sound quality is better but it sounds on point
Oddly the straight connector supplied with the lead is much better quality
I was looking for a better quality cables than the cheap fender cables that keep breaking on me

Definitely feels like it is worth the price i paid
I followed the market and got this one for a very good price
My main gripe is the moulded rightangled connector which is cheap and horrible for a cable bearing this cost

I had been working on a small stage and wanted to keep my cable out of the way

However i tried these same vox curly cables on my other solid electric guitars an old peavey patriot hardtail with a pair of seymore humbuckers and a fender aerodyne jazz pj bass

The sound was not as full more diminishedmuddy overall and not as bright and clear as my other straight braided cables

Did not bring out or enhance tones or frequencies with these two guitars

In general i would recommend these cables only for true single coil guitars like strats or teles or for hollowsemi hollow electrics with p90s especially if you want to tone down the high frequencies in your sound since these cables are really long overall 29

I would avoid these cables for 34darker sounding34 humbucker pickup guitars gibson prs etc or magnetic field pickups like those found on gl guitars and i would stick to shorter stright 34brighter34 sounding cables for those guitars

Maybe thats why the original owner of these cables put them up for sale didnt get the sound he was hoping for

No good if you are a ways away from your amp though its just not that long being a coiley thing
