Pros
Rotatable plug means it can be easily stored on a startocaster. Works well with low gain and high gain. Three fx on it also works fantastically if you want to sprinkle you tone with some extra toppings on it.

This mini amp has a real clean sound and also provides crisp distorted tones when used with the right amount of gain
No humming battery life is really good so far two aaa batteries on top of that
If the plug could rotate 270 degrees instead of 180 degrees the problem wouldnt have arisen
It is small but the sound quality is pretty good
Competitiveness
Anyway it is not that big a deal and the pros by far outweigh this little issue

If used on a startocaster it can be safely left on it for storing and quick access later on due to its rotatable plug although keep in mind it only rotates a 180 degress not all the way round which is a slight bummer

The clean tone with low gain is warm and the high gain sound sound is quite crunchy
