Pros
Vortex diamondback 4-12x44, is as close to perfect as a human being could make. Costumer service is priority on my list. It’s not the cheapest scope out there but for the money you get more than what you pay for.
Sfp scopes maintain the same reticle size throughout their magnification power range. The reticle of an ffp scope gets smaller as you increase magnification power. Clarity is great,like the reticle.
Imagine going back to the catalogue days. Seller is fine and superlative. The seller is great also and very responsive.
Cons
Eye relief is basically non existent. Not huntable even in indirect light around sunset or sunrise.
Over and over after 40 rounds or so (not shot all at the same time at a high rate - - not a hot barrel issue) the scope phlewy off zero. I am not sure if this a real vortex product.
Glass is not any clearer then my nikko sterling game king or nikon prostaff scopes that came on rifles as a package. The light transmission is also the worst of my scopes unless you compare it to my old fixed 4x leupold with no coatings at all that ca... Read More

But just packaging could be done better
Once zeroed in a 1 gong at 100yds was no problem to hit
Competitiveness
The scope ended up in a customs hold for a couple of weeks and my needs frustrated me to order another scope made in the usa

This is the first time i have ever bought a scope that when it gets to me the box was in perfect condition the scope was packaged fine but the bell end of the scope cover clear plastic was busted and stuck in the end of the scope

Glass clarity and color is really hard to discern with other optics about 400 range
