It seems to be a rugged design that is well made.

It works exactly as advertised. Good price as well.

Cons

Made in china mount has my 50mm objective scope sitting way too high on the rail for my liking. I prefer a mount that keeps the scope low on the rifle but still clears the rail. I’d give these a zero rating if amazon would let me.

I think this is a great product

But the mount is definiely not as quality as the scope

Side by side with the thin monstrum it’s base is longer and it’s heavier duty and it shows in its weight

The cost is a little higher than the other units but to me it was worth it

Keeps my strike eagle sturdy and the price i’ve seen at gun stores go up to 120

I just wish it didnt cost what it does

Very well made and shipping was fast

Make sure you get some blue loctite and an inchpound torque wrench for getting the screws set right but this was fast easy to install

Packaging/appearance

The vortex is back in it’s packaging and will probably stay there until i’m bored someday or the monstrum fails

Works perfectly for mounting a crossfire ii 6x24x50mm on a ar10 flattop

Needed this type of mount to gain operational clearances needed on an ar10

Like most rings they weren’t completely concentric by design

I fit a 56mm scope onto this on an ar 15 platform
