Pros

For $74 this monocular is a steal, especially with the superb vortex no-nonsense lifetime warranty. The warranty makes for a no-brainer purchase. Very nice image quality for the price ($80 cdn}.

Nice small size but built solidly. Can be a little shaky at longer distances. A little hard to adjust focus with one hand.

Vortex, vortex, awesome. Highly recommended. Honestly, it works fine.

Cons

It seems that this monocular is not designed for use around water. The magnification is grossly exaggerated. It is now fogged up also and no longer usable.

Ive always liked this brand and surprisingly amazon had it for a better regular price than any of the larger department stores around me

I was also considering hawke 10x25 but vortex has slightly wider field of view 315 vs 288 and longer eye relief 14

The 25mm opening is definitely on the small side and limits the use in very low light conditions such as around dusk and dawn or under heavy canopy cover but thats what you trade for having it extremely conpact
