Pros

Low settings are very quiet. High speed is not silent but smooth and relatively quiet. Perfect for my 2nd bedroom. It is super silent too.

The gun metal finish on the alchemy is amazing. The black is matte and slightly rough, and the painted copper is smooth. One caveat, most of the fan components are sturdy metal and feel great. Mainly of the metal fans as well as heaters.

If you pay through the teeth, the quality far exceeds the lower models you find in target. This one has an improved switch and is just * looking.

Cons

The vornado petite alchemy vintage fan is a resounding disappointment. It cheapens the entire look of the fan. I would pay no more than $10 at a local pharmacy shop.

Fan makes an audible buzzing noise. After one week of use it rattles horribly on all settings.

Do not be fooled. Honestly, it looks cheap. Not a product that is worthy of the exspensive price tag.
