Pros

Vornado 723dc fan is much quieter than standard black models. White energy smart fans use a brushless motor to power the blades, so they're even quieter. Fans can adjust fan speed and motor/blade volume.

Super impressed and extremely pleased with the vornado fan. The fan is worth the premium over similar vornado fans, as it really looks and feels like a premium product. Comes with a ten year warranty.

My plug has a tendancy to loosen up, disconnecting the fan from the power. It on the underside, behind the grill. This is 1st time there has been a transformer/adapter in the wiring.

We have a pellet stove that heats our whole house. It's at least 6-7degrees warmer here than with the fan off" effective in cooling room with evidence seen on thermostat.

Cons

New models are pure garbage. Returning defective fan means i would not get any refund since i purchased it using promotional credit at first place.

Speed of the fan lags the dial setting a lot worse than the old ac motor versions. It's not really a surprise that it's louder because it's half the size of the lasko.

Small fan doesn't give much airflow. It is severely overpriced. My money would have been better spent purchasing a wind machine or a cyclone.

Also they are heavy. The stand is what was problematic. The fan tends to swing down and point at the floor and i could find no way to tighten a connection to prevent this.

They are powerful wellmade and pretty quiet

We have kept other smaller vornados on for many days uninterrupted with the heat

However when cranked to the max the vornado wins that competition both in terms of air movement and decibel rating…this is one loud buggah

I can feel it move air at a measured 25ft
