Pros
The bodenventilator schwarz (aka vornado) is one of the most efficient fans out there. The projection of air is over a long distance and very focused so you get a great cooling effect. It points upward avoiding drying out my eyes.
Almost silent on the slowest speed and perfect for the job. Highest setting is powerful and good for shifting large volumes of air but it does make some noise on this setting.
Cons
It's not quite the vortex of air i was hoping for. It's basically a powerful-ish fan that can't rotate. It doesn't oscillate.

Would have expected the switch to go from low speed to high speed

To turn it off you have to flick through the higher speeds before the off switch

I bought it for around £45 in winter so look for a deal its much more expensive now especially in the warm seasons for obvious reasons
