After first use the three parts of the shaker became completely jammed together. Tried everything to separate them - hot water, freezing etc. This is a serious design flaw.

What i noticed it helps if you wipe dry the outside rim of the bottom part and the inside of the lid before closing it

The lid does have a habbit of coming off whilst shaking as others have also mentioned

Got a bit carried away shaking the cocktail and the top flew off but i think that was user error as i probably wasnt holding it tight enough
