Pros

The seat is comfortable enough to ride without padded shorts. Riding without a chamois is perfect on this saddle. It fits nicely, is plenty padded without being too pillowy or high-friction.

Volt is a flat and narrower saddle with a medium amount of padding. It's padded in the right places, doesn't chafe like many padded saddles. The pure is just a tiny bit longer and wider, and has probably 1/4 inch more padding.

The outer material is fantastic. It's not sticky or plasticy feeling like most other saddles. The material is also very grippy and supportive, so you won’t be sliding around. This saddle really solved the discomfort issues.

This is my third wtb saddle and second volt that i have purchased. Replaced a tattered beaten up wtb seat on my old iron horse sinister race mtb. However if you have experience with wtb saddles this is not a disappointment.

Cons

The fabric covering the seat is bonded with glue. The rails are steel. They were advertised as carbon and on sale. Very creaky.

I have purchased 2 and for the price it is just amazing

Either way i think this is a great product for a great price

Get a decent reputable saddle the pain of a truly terrible option is not worth the 20 bucks you might save

The saddle was cheaper on amazon so i bought through them

Competitiveness

As noted wtb came up with a winner on this one

Tried the pure sl8 and rocket and none compared to volt in terms of balance and comfort

Swapped out the giant romero for this seat

I did end up getting the pure as well but have to say that the volt is superior to the pure for endurance
