Ive got one arm in a sling for the moment and i can use this to help open jars onehanded the sticky mat holds the jar firmly enough in place to twist againstin fact i first got the idea to buy these from the blog of a woman with one arm

As advertised they peel cleanly off of surfaces and can be rinsed with water and reused
