Works great and very durable. The spring on them is stiff and strong so the clamping action is solid. Well made, sturdy and ready to use.

I have seen a lot of questions and answers saying these wouldn’t open more than an inch

They have very strong springs in them but i can get them to open to 2 inches

The entire sleeve slips off the jaws and off the clamps to allow installation of the cable

Although you can crimp the cable onto the fitting and screw it to the clamp it is best to solder the wire to the terminal and then crimp it before securing it to the handle just make sure you slide the handle onto the cable in the right orientation before soldering the cable to the terminal i know that’s just common sense but murphy’s law says that someone will blow it
