This microphone picks up everything. As for paranormal. This product is good for ghost hunting. Putting a d-pad kind of controls would certainly help.

The item is very solidly built from metal and appears to operate very well. It doens't feel cheap and flimsy at all. Wah heavier than expected.

Nothing negative or neutral to say about this device. This recorder is amazing. Good sound. Play back seems ok from device. Absolutely love this recorder.

Cons

The sound quality with this recorder is utter garbage. Tried different cables, different chargers, nothing. The manual is written in microscopic print on a cheap folded up 2 x4 paper.
