Pros
Vivosun mat keeps seedlings and tropical plants nice as warm in harsh canadian winters without requiring me to build a greenhouse or blast my furnace. No temp control on this one but seems to work nice.
Large size allows for many seedling trays. Four 72 pod seed starting trays fit perfectly. Fits the bottom of my 2x4 grow tent.
Cons
Matt has a thermostat that seems to be working but isn’t warm on the entire mat. It warms up but seems like it has cold spots that are not warming on the mat. This one barely heats up compared to my others.

Been using one for year works great to keep soil warm and encourage germination
The heating is consistent throughout and thankfully the power cord is pretty long so i have no trouble getting it to an outlet
Slow to heat took almost 2 hours to actually feel the warmth coming off it i thought i got a faulty unit at first
It draws very little power and is simple to use
Price
I lucked out and got this one on sale for 13
There is no temperature control don’t be cheap spend the extra few bucks and buy a better version of this
For less than 20 it was a bargain

Most heat pads for reptiles are designed to get quite hot and stick to the bottom of the glass so they arent easily removeable
